Supply of ungalvanised steel ~ 20mm rope sling with one end of the sling crimpedhydraulically with standard ferrule and forged solid thimble. the bore of thimbleshould be 28+0.033,-0-00. the wire rope shall be of ordinary lay steel core, 6/36construction,ensile strength of 180kg/mm2. as per is-2266 latest effective length ofthe wire rope from centre of thimble to free end should be 48 mtrs. the wire ropeshall be tested to safe working load of 180kg/mm square. the wire rope should befor use in class 1v hot metal handling 40/12.5 tonne eot crane of steel melting shop.make m/s usha martin , note(a) the forged sold thimble shall be as per is-2315. (b)test certificate should accompany the supply.
